Ketamine-Assisted Therapy
When symptoms don’t fully respond to traditional therapy or medication, it can feel frustrating and discouraging. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) offers another path—one that combines the power of medicine with the depth of psychotherapy to help you access relief, insight, and meaningful change.
At Compass Wellness Center, we offer ketamine-assisted virtual therapy for adults, in collaboration with Journey Clinical, a specialized medical team that manages all medical aspects of care.
Ketamine-assisted therapy can be especially helpful for adults who are struggling with:
-
Depression (including treatment-resistant depression)
-
Anxiety
-
Trauma-related symptoms and PTSD
-
Feelings of being “stuck” despite prior therapy or medication
-
Loss of meaning, disconnection, or emotional numbness
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a holistic treatment approach in which ketamine is used as a complement to psychotherapy—not a stand-alone intervention.
The goal is to help eligible clients:
-
Experience more frequent emotional and cognitive breakthroughs
-
Soften rigid patterns of thinking and feeling
-
Achieve more sustained improvement in symptoms over time
In KAP, the medicine experience is paired intentionally with therapy sessions so that insights, emotions, and shifts that arise during ketamine sessions can be processed, integrated, and applied in your daily life.
